Who We Are In 1970, our law firm was founded with one attorney and a clerk. Today, our twenty attorneys continue to practice in the same location, providing a wide range of services to businesses and individuals, both in Lincoln and state-wide. We are proud of our reputation, and proud of the fact that we have had very little turnover in attorney personnel, which makes for a stable office environment. We have 20 attorneys, 6 paralegals, and a support staff of 16 full-time and 8 part-time employees. Our personnel range from college students to the semi-retired. We have a satellite office in Seward (25 miles west of Lincoln), and we are always looking for qualified candidates, both attorneys and support staff. What We Offer We want to be the best law firm in Lincoln, and the way to do that is to attract the best people to work here. The partners pride themselves on being very competitive in salaries. We prefer applicants for staff positions to have a college or technical degree, or commensurate experience. Rembolt Ludtke LLP is committed to developing the technology side of our practice. The partners have devoted both money and personnel to develop our systems and enhance the hardware. We are interested in finding people who enjoy the challenge of working through the transition of learning new software, and of maximizing the uses and usefulness of our existing programs. People who are computer-savvy bring us new perspectives and information, which is helpful as we continue to work at keeping up-to-date. Meeting deadlines is a constant part of the practice of law, so we need people who don't mind working under some pressure. What We Offer Our Human Resources Our firm isn't large enough to offer a lot of levels in our personnel structure, but when we find a good person, we try to keep him or her by offering the most interesting, challenging work we can. When a position opens up, our first reaction is to consider our present employees first, to see if we already have the skills in residence. And if we can offer someone a promotion, or a lateral move with new responsibilities, we are glad to do it. For example, at present, six of our staff members hold positions higher than those for which they were originally hired. We seek to foster an atmosphere that recognizes the importance of each person's role in meeting our overall goal of providing the client with top-notch service at a reasonable price.
