Technical Support Specialist (20100071)

Finger printing is required. JOB DUTIES: (Major areas of responsibility) Maintain and comply with company’s strategies, policies and procedures designed to provide efficient and effective service to users and customers. Continually striving to reduce turnaround time, system stability and customer satisfaction. Compliance of policies and procedures for Network Services. Maintain & Enhance skills to resolve day to day technical and operational issues with workstation systems and applications. Assistance will be via phone or on-site. Ensuring compliance with Union Bank and Trust’s policies, standards and goals. Maintain an organized structure for workstation and application configurations to accomplish Union Bank and Trust’s goals and objectives. (documentation on configurations, trouble shooting procedures and User forms). Assist with Network Administration for user setup and deletion. Assist & maintain network infrastructure wiring including making of network cabling. Maintain and manage Active Directory users and workstations. Attend appropriate education and training programs to continually advance level of understanding of technology solutions. Continue improvement and training of professional skills. Maintains proprietary applications for technical functionality for Union Bank and Trust. Maintain technical certificates as specified for warranty and non-warranty part orders. Manage and maintain projects as assigned by managing/supervising officers. Assist helpdesk in maintaining service level goals set by managing/supervising officer. Assist Network Services Assistant as needed. Fill out inventory forms as needed for documentation. After hours on call support for all network issues. Manage and assist in programming digital phones for Union Bank and Trust. Continue to develop a broad knowledge base of technologies utilized by Network Services. Manage third party repairs on workstations and peripherals. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES: This position requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft products (OS and office applications), trouble shooting skills and the ability to establish priorities. Strong technical skills, personnel skills and the ability to work with all departments. Excellent oral and written communications required. Travel between branches is required. Must have a valid NE driver’s license. Position requires excellent customer service skills and team player. Flexibility with work and work load is a must. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: The applicant must have acceptable combinations of education, technical background and experience in desk top support. 1-3 years experience in related field. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium workload – exerting up to 75lbs of force occasionally and / or up to 20lbs frequently. Mostly indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor elements or hazards. Some travel may be required.
