The Eastmont Towers Community offers a wide array of facilities. With the on-site bank, chapel, hairdresser, fitness room, recreational room, ice-cream parlor, solarium, gardens, and dining and meeting rooms, you are sure to find a place to satisfy any need.   T HE M ONARCH is a freestanding facility at 4201 South 78 th with primary emphasis on hospice to enhance the continuity and the quality of hospice care delivered to terminally ill people and their families in our community. This assisted living facility is a six-bedroom home providing care for the terminally ill. Its role is to enhance the home care perspectives. Eastmont Towers personnel will partner with hospice agencies to insure continued quality of care. Our Mission Statement is: “At T HE M ONARCH we affirm the cycle of life. We care for the dying, give solace to the grieving, and educate the community.” Although many hospice people generally prefer to stay at home, that is not always possible. Some people have no family members to provide the necessary care giving. For some others, family members are not physically able to care for the dying person. Often a dying person is placed in a nursing home or hospital so needs can be met. The new alternative is T HE M ONARCH , a home-like, freestanding facility capable of providing all the needed medical care for terminally ill people and their family.
