Medical and Dental Insurance: Duncan Aviation pays a majority of the cost for a comprehensive benefits plan for you and your dependents. You have the option of either a PPO or HMO medical plan.
Life Insurance: Basic group term life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment and dependent life insurance are provided to you and your family at no cost to you.
Disability Insurance: If you are unable to work due to sickness or an injury and miss more than 80 hours, Duncan Aviation provides disability benefits to you. This benefit is provided at no cost to you.
Optional Benefits:
Medical/Dependent Reimbursement Account: You can elect to put pre-tax dollars into a medical or dependent care account. That money can then be reimbursed to you for any non-covered medical expenses or expenses incurred for dependent care.
Voluntary Term Life Insurance: Duncan Aviation provides you the opportunity to purchase additional term life insurance for you and your dependents.
Cancer / Intensive Care Unit Plan: Benefits paid from this plan are in addition to benefits received from the Duncan Medical Plan.
Eyewear Discount: This plan provides you with a discount on contacts or eye glasses at participating eye care centers.
Additional Benefits:
401(k) Retirement Plan: The Duncan Aviation 401(k) plan allows you to invest a portion of your income on a tax-deferred basis to save for your future.
Duncan Aviation will match 50% of your elected deferrals up to 5% of your pay with a vesting schedule based on your years of service.
Duncan Investment Plan: A payroll deduction program to enable employees to invest after-tax dollars in a variety of investment funds with only a reduced sales charge.
Company Paid Holidays: The company provides seven legal holidays and one floating holiday annually.
Personal Time Bank: Based on your years of service, employees receive personal time bank hours to be used for personal time off (i.e. illness, vacation, personal business, etc.). New employees receive 40 hours at their six month anniversary; an additional 80 hours at their one year anniversary and a minimum of 120 hours each year after that with an increase to 160 hours at their ten year anniversary. Employees may carry over 80 hours each year and any additional hours they do not use is contributed to their 401K.
